The Mixtape Sessions Music Conference brings together music business practitioners and industry leaders to discuss current music business news and trends, engage with fellow creatives and network with artists of all music genres. Panel discussions will explore some of the main issues and competitors in music today. Newark is the largest city in New Jersey and has a rich history of arts and culture, located only 20 miles from a major radio, TV and music market - New York City. The Mixtape Sessions Music Conference is community transformation through artist health & wellness, technology, music & artist entrepreneurship as well as music education for creatives residing in Newark and the surrounding areas. Particularly, the Mixtape Sessions Music Conference this year will draw attendees from each ward of the city due to the draw of the Lincoln Park Music Festival, now in preparation for its 14th annual three-day event.
